The benefit for a dependent child with a disability is financial aid for families with children who have a recognized degree of disability. Its purpose is to offset the additional expenses involved in daily care and attention.
It is aid managed by the Social Security system and, unlike other benefits, it is not dependent on family income when the degree of disability is equal to or greater than 65%.

The following can apply for this aid:
Fathers, mothers, or legal guardians.
Who have a dependent child with a recognized disability.
Who live with the minor (or are financially dependent on them).
In some cases, also for adults with disabilities who are dependent on the family.
📊 Requirements according to the degree of disability
👉 Disability equal to or greater than 33% (under 18 years of age):
The right to the benefit is recognized.
👉 Disability equal to or greater than 65%:
Family income is not taken into account.
👉 Disability equal to or greater than 75% with the need for a third person:
The amount is increased.

Children under 18 with ≥33% disability:

Adults over 18 with ≥65% disability:
➤ €5,805.60 per year (approx. €483.80/month)
Adults over 18 with ≥75% + third person:
➤ €8,707.20 per year (approx. €725.60/month)
